This ten-day residential program offered through The Webb Schools immerses rising 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students in the world of the research scientist.

  • Learn alongside world-renowned paleontologists through hands-on work with real fossils in the Alf Museum’s state-of-the-art research and fossil prep labs
  • Explore the Page Museum, La Brea Tar Pits, and Los Angeles Natural History Museum
  • Travel through the cosmos at Webb’s own Hefner Observatory, housing a Celestron-14 telescope
  • Live and study with enthusiastic students in this highly selective program, limited to 20 students per 10-day session
  • Create 3-D scans of fossils, then print one to take home with you
  • Catalog your fossil finds so they can be placed into the permanent collections of the Alf Museum with your name listed as identifier
