A loan is the temporary physical transfer of collection specimens from the Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology (RAM) to a researcher or an exhibitor at a not-for-profit institution where there is no legal transfer of ownership. Only in exceptional cases will RAM collection items be loaned to private individuals or for-profit institutions. Loans requests will be approved by the Curator and processed by the Collections Manager. A full copy of the Alf Museum’s loan policies is available here.
For more information on borrowing specimens, contact curator Andy Farke (afarke@webb.org) or collections manager Gabriel Santos (gsantos@webb.org)
