Tour Information

**Attention! School Field Trip reservations are CLOSED until further notice.

Until further notice, we are not booking in-person school/group tours, due to the ongoing pandemic and in support of current community health guidelines at The Webb Schools, where the museum is located. Thank you for your understanding.

As an alternative to in-person tours, the Alf Museum would like to offer either our Loan Kit Program or Virtual Tours. The Alf Museum Loan Kit Program provides teachers with a full kit of NGSS-aligned teaching material, supplementary resources, and fossil casts to teach major scientific concepts in their own classrooms. Our Virtual Tour program allows classrooms to connect to the Alf Museum through ZOOM video conferencing for an engaging online experience to learn about paleontology at the Alf Museum.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. We hope you understand that The Webb School’s response to COVID-19 was not made lightly and the Alf Museum is dedicated to continuing to serve as a world-class educational resource for educators throughout Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.

The Alf Museum is proud to provide engaging and educational tours based off the Next Gen Science Standards for 2nd–4th grade school groups. During your visit, your school group will receive a detailed tour of the museum’s two fossil-filled exhibition halls as we discuss various highlights from the history of life. Your group will also view a short film which takes them along on a recent dinosaur discovery made by the museum. This presentation enables your group to see the dynamic, scientifically-active side of the Alf Museum. Please see our FAQ page for more information on our tours.
