Programs for Preschool & Kindergarten
Please note: Due to the hands-on nature of the Classroom Science Connections activities, we cannot provide these programs to multi-class groups. Therefore, we have created the Great Science Connections which can better accommodate large numbers of students. These multiple class programs are very similar to the other Classroom Science Connections programs but lack the activities component. They do, however, include the opportunity for each student to get up close and touch fossils.
Fossil Fun!
This program focuses on the basics of paleontology - what fossils are,
the types of fossils, and what paleontologists do. Students
handle fossils (both real and replicas) and paleontological tools
and then make their own "fossil" rubbings to illustrate the major
types of fossils that paleontologists study.

Dino Fun!
This program focuses on dinosaurs & their lifestyles - how & where they
lived, what/who they ate, and who co-existed with them. Students handle dinosaur fossils (both real and replicas) and then
make their own meat- & plant-eating dinosaur craft based on their
newly-acquired knowledge of dinosaur teeth.
